James Avis

Family and friends of James Avis are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant. James has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

James is a father to 3 sons. A proud grandfather to 2 beautiful granddaughters and another granddaughter on the way. James must have a heart transplant to live and watch his granddaughters grow up. He will need to cover at least 6 months of temporary relocation to be near the transplant center in Jacksonville, a cost insurance does not cover. To help with medical travel and other critical costs, his loving community has started a fundraising campaign with Help Hope Live in his honor.
