Hello, I’m James and I was born with Scoliosis and spina bifida.
I was also born clubfooted and missing a vertebrae in my spine. My right foot is a drop foot. I wore brace on my leg my whole childhood. I was a Shriners patient all the way until I was 21. I had many surgeries throughout that time. As I got older all my organs started pushing against each other do to the curves of my spine. My muscles quit working in the lower part of my abdomen causing my bladder function to quit. That and high blood pressure due to the pain I was going through caused my kidneys to quit functioning.

On March of 2010, I was Diagnosed with kidney failure. I was put on dialysis for 3 time a week 3 hours each time. I’ve been doing that every since. I now have the opportunity at a new life. It’s taken me 2 and a half years of tests but I finally got approved for the kidney transplant list. They told me that I can be called at any moment. This is where I need help due to financial Issues I am asking for help. Even if it’s a small amount I would be most appreciative. Thank you for listening to my story.
