Family and friends of James Holly are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant. James has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

Empower Jim to breathe new life and relish every moment! Jim is a 51-year-old who has courageously overcome pneumococcal lung disease, severe asthma, and severe COPD.

His 12-year tenure in the coal mines, plus his 11-year stint at a silicon refinery have tested his resolve, but he remains steadfast. Since 2018, he has persevered thorough daily breathing treatments, inhalers, steroids, injections and oxygen therapy around-the-clock. Despite these challenges, he remains determined to triumph over this disease. He looks forward to reclaiming his passion for fishing, hunting and just being in the great outdoors.

The time has come for Jim to undergo a double lung transplant, a pivotal step towards reclaiming his life. This new chapter will bring numerous medical expenses, which includes moving to Cleveland for the transplant and post transplant stay, medications and several other costs that insurance does not cover. With your support, Jim and his family will be able to overcome these obstacles and start anew.
