James LaFave

Family and friends of James LaFave are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant. James has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses. On July 2nd Jim had a double lung transplant at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. As his family we are asking everyone’s help in supporting Jim with the expenses he will face in his road to recovery. Jim will be unable to work for an extended period of time and will need to stay in Jacksonville for up to four months for continued care and rehab. There is also medication he will need to take for the rest of his life. Any donation, big or small towards Jim’s recovery and medical expenses will be greatly appreciated.
