Family and friends of James McCann are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Catastrophic Injury. James has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses. Hi my name is James McCann I’m 70 years old lives in Massachusetts. On May 6 I got rush into the hospital and find out I had blood clots in my right leg from vascular disease they have no way to saved my leg. So they have to cut it off. My health insurance will not pay for equipment for my car so I can get more independent and drive my self around. Do my own shopping and go to my appointments on my own. Also I am retired and on low income need help to pay for equipment for my car and driving lessons to learn how to drive again. Is it not covered by insurance need to be out of pocket. It will cost four thousand dollars to get everything done. Thanks for your help.
