09/02/2022 Dallas Observer Top 100 venues Six Springs Live Music Showcase Richardson, TX
Showcase with Johnny Romo/ Rhythmic Arrest, Copious Noise, Heirs of Salvation, & Muthalode.
The Event had a last minute cancellation of a Regional Artist, however, Thanks to these friends and Artists, The Show went on with a Crowd under 25% OF capacity. They Truly worked hard over 72 hours to get the show out.

09/03/2022 at The Pour Shack in Keller, Texas as I reunite with my schoolmates for a ‘CHAZARETTA” reunion. ChazaRetta 22 & Somebody Else was a SHEER BLAST & Packed with our Alumni from Richland, Haltom, L.D. Bell, & Trinity High Schools.

We were wildly popular and the last event hosted at this venue broke The attendance record.

What a tremendous quality of Artists, Fans, and Human Kind who supported this on a Laid back Early Sunday Evening.

The Event started at 5- PM CST on Sunday 09/04/2022 at The Six Springs Live with Bobbywood Michaels of Flash Mob, My new project ALABASTER BOX, & Headliners- Top Notch CCR/Fogerty Tribute Texas Clearwater Revival.
Six Springs Tavern is located in Richardson, TX.

Highlights were meeting New friends & Music fans like Rene Salinas, The Owners of The Meatery, The TCR Tribe, & Cynthia Tyska and friends.
We were Overjoyed to catch up with long time supporters such as “MOOSE”, Bobby Finn, Jim Long ANCTV, T.K, Mary & Wulff Harris, Andrew Rameriz, Shay McFalls “BOOEY”, and my Living Kidney Donor Laura Workman and her Husband Chris.

I am a blessed kidney transplant recipient soon to be living 7 years “Dialysis Free” in North Texas.

I Spent 1/4th of my adult life (13 years) requiring kidney dialysis to remain alive until my Living kidney donor matched in 2014 and our surgery was scheduled.
Though it was a long and very difficult road, I know God has blessed me in so many ways.

On December 9, 2015, my living donor Laura Workman did the most selfless act one can do for another, when she donated one of her 2 healthy functioning kidneys to SAVE MY LIFE.

My health IS remarkably good since the surgery.

It feels like a miracle to wake up and sense your body is becoming stronger, your system cleaned of toxins and waste, and dialysis is no longer needed.

I was doubly blessed on December 28th when my fiancée
Kristen McLester accepted my proposal of marriage.

After performing my concert and surrounded by our loving families, I bent on one knee and asked Kristen to be my bride.

In the lyrics to the “hit” song “Oh what a night”!
Kirsten’s decision changed my destiny eternally.

Our lives have changed dramatically since we met on September 2, 2016.

We remained single for a decade on our own, facing life’s struggles without a spouse to lean on, shoulder to cry on, hand to hold and soul mate to talk to.

Kristen said “Yes” and we were married Crossroads Tabernacle April 22nd, 2017
Amidst the joy of our Newfound marriage, the reality of being responsible for enormous medical debt that has accumulated over the years for my medical care is a current challenge.

Even with Medicare A,B, & D coverage, there are co-pays and deductibles, follow-up doctor visits and lab fees.

It is a financial challenge too great to overcome without the continued support of others.

This brings me to the purpose of this letter.

To help alleviate this financial burden, a fundraising campaign in the South Central Texas Help Hope Live kidney fund (Campaign 4543) has been established in my honor.

Help Hope Live, are a high-ranking nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for 39 years. Help Hope Live rank as a Top medical nonprofit organization with a perfect score of “4 Stars” according to Charity Navigator.
Help Hope Live have assisted thousands of Families like ours across North America and Canada. As of 2021, Help Hope Live have worked with Their Grassroots Community of Patients and Resources to Raise 160 Million Dollars in Resources.

All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the South-Central Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only.

As of May 2, 2022
Medicare is only assisting with 80% of transplant related expenses for post kidney transplant medications and follow ups. Our last fundraising effort was 09/04/2021 at The New Granbury Live Theater and due to unforeseen circumstances our event experienced challenges and our efforts fell short of our goal to catch up on 18 months of medical receipts.

My Medigap Insurance plan with Manhattan Life terminated due to non payment in December of 2017, when my quarterly premium from increased from $1371.00 to $2148.00
My prescription for CellCept 90 day supply increased to $2371.00 (we do receive a little assistance and must check with Texas Kidney Healthcare to see if we are still eligible for assistance.

Please know your support is still crucial to my continued good health. Thank you so much for your gifts and prayers.

We are Fortunate to announce our campaign has a Brand New Fender Tobacco Sunburst Guitar with a Soft Gig Bag signed by Jimmie Vaughn. Jimmie is a Buddy Magazine TX Tornado, Member of the Multi Platinum recording Artist “The Fabulous Thunderbirds”, The Brother of the Legendary Guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughn, & was The Support Guitarist on the recent Eric Clapton Tour.

On November 8th, 2021 at The Texas Trust CU Theater, Hit Makers and Multi Platinum World Touring Artists “REO SPEEDWAGON” signed a Brand New Kramer USA Guitar for our campaign. They also included a Custom Gig Bag from Murphy’s Music Center in Irving, TX

We also received an Autographed Guitar from The Willits family by Fabulous Thunderbirds Guitarist and Texas Hall of Fame Musician, Jimmie Vaughn. Jimmie is Texas Guitar legend Stevie Ray Vaughn’s brother. Rene Salinas Thank You.

We are receiving Autographed Guitars from Ted Nugent (Multi Platinum Recording Artist), & Singer/Guitarist Derek St. Holmes of The original Ted Nugent Band and 1st Annual Help Hope Live ANCTV All Star band for our next events. Thanks to “Katman” for his contributions and willingness to serve others.

Our Appreciation is immense for The Team at HHL for standing with us since our 1st campaign director Susan R. in May of 2014.

Special heartfelt Thanks from our Family & Team to Nicole Andrews & Associates and her Husband Greg for Building & launching this Platform for us and assisting us in organizing an email campaign.
