Jamie, is long time resident of Athens, AL. On January 5th 2023, his long battle with health problems came to an abrupt end when his renal system shut down and kidneys failed. Decatur Morgan Hospital did what they could to save his life. Even though they were able to drain over 50lbs of fluid off his body, he was left unable to walk and required to medical procedures and a combined month of both home health and Rehabilitation to improve to the point he is, however his journey is not complete as he is in dire need of a Kidney.

Family and friends of Jamie Elliott are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
