Jared Workman

Jared and Audrey were planning on being married on May 1st, but on April 25th Jared was kicked in the head by a horse. The day after his semester ended and a week before the wedding, Jared was in between insurance. He was planning on a couple policy with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, his hard won internship for the summer. Jared has been in hospitals and acute and subacute care facilities since then, and is now recovering in a nursing home near Murray, Utah with his fiancée and mother at his side. He’s yet to recover his speech or motor skills but has relearned many skills most of us take for granted each day. He suffered a subdermal hematoma and was on life support for many weeks and in a coma for nearly 3 months.
