Jeanne Marley

Family and friends of Jeanne Marley are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Catastrophic Illness. Jeanne has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

Jeanne is an active and vibrant 72-year- old lady who is battling her third cancer.

Her first battle with cancer began seven years ago with bladder cancer., which involved 12 rounds of chemo and surgery. After three months it had spread to her lungs which required five rounds of immunotherapy. She has been remission until her new diagnosis in July with early-stage stomach cancer. This cancer is not related to the previous ones.

Jeanne is devoted to her family, her sister and many nieces and nephews. Attending as many of their sporting events as she could. She is a person of deep faith which has guided her for many years. Her church family brings her great joy, peace and support.

Jeanne loves to kayak and be out on the water. She has also been dragon boating since 2016 and has attended many festivals. She also loves being at the beach with her toes in the sand with a good book and just listening to the ocean. She also enjoys spending time with her friends while sharing a meal and having a good laugh or two.

Jeanne discovered the joy of traveling later in life and is looking forward to traveling again when she is well enough.

Since being diagnosed this summer, her part-time retirement job has been very challenging while dealing with the chemo side effects. She has been finding it very hard to meet her monthly expenses. Realizing this has been very humbling to say the least. So, any donation will be a big help in letting her focus entirely on her upcoming surgery, recover from surgery before more rounds of chemo.
