Meet the Sachs Family – Jeff, Kristen, and Evelyn

Jeff has been living with quadriplegia since 2013 when he sustained a spinal cord injury while diving into the ocean. He is ventilator-dependent, and is paralyzed from the neck down. His wife Kristen is his caregiver and together with their daughter Evelyn, they reside in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Your donation will help the Sachs family continue to thrive while living life with Jeff’s injury. The out-of-pocket costs to maintain Jeff’s health are enormous and on-going. Insurance only covers a portion of these costs. Things like physical therapy, monthly supplies, and home modifications are all expenses the Sachs family must shoulder themselves, and this is where your donations make a difference.

To help with these costs, a fundraising campaign in Jeff’s honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for 30 years. In 2000, they expanded their mission to include those who have sustained a catastrophic injury. All contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the Southwest Spinal Cord Injury Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for injury-related expenses only.
