Jeff and His Family Need Our Help!

Jeffrey Scott is a truly remarkable 36-year-old who has hit the biggest roadblock of his life. This July he was taken to the hospital where he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. At this point, Jeff’s only chance of survival is a heart transplant, which his insurance will not cover for him. He and his family need our help to pay for some of the medical expenses related to this transplant.

Jeff is a loving husband and father of two amazing children, McKenzie (9) and Kasen (2). He served in the U.S. Army and after getting married, worked as a Corrections Officer for the State of Nevada for eight years. Jeff is the type of person who lights up a room and makes friends easily. You can call him in the middle of the night, stranded with car problems and he will be there to help you fix it.

A heart transplant and the care needed afterwards are extremely expensive, especially with limited insurance. Since Jeff can’t work and his wife has been home a lot to care for him, things have been financially difficult. Jeff and his family are facing very high medical expenses, including travel to and from the transplant center, co-pays and deductibles, and the costly medications he will have to take for the rest of his life.
