Family, friends, and community members are coming together to support Jennifer C., a devoted single mother of three, a dedicated real estate professional, and community servant, as she courageously faces a life-threatening cancer diagnosis.

Jennifer has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live, a nonprofit organization that allows friends and loved ones to give in a safe, meaningful, and tax-deductible way.  All donations made through Help Hope Live are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law and are used exclusively to cover qualifying medical and related expenses during this critical time.

Help Jennifer Keep Fighting

Jennifer was diagnosed on November 8, 2024, with Stage 4B Extra-Ovarian Primary Peritoneal Cancer, a rare and aggressive form of ovarian cancer. Since her diagnosis, she has undergone an 8 1/2 hr surgery, three lines of chemotherapy, each consisting of 3–6 intensive treatment cycles.

Alongside traditional cancer treatments, Jennifer has pursued integrative and supportive therapies to strengthen her body and manage the harsh side effects of treatment. These therapies include high-dose intravenous Vitamin C for immune support, acupuncture to relieve neuropathy in her feet, along with off-label medications and targeted vitamin therapies.

Despite her strength, resilience, and unwavering determination, Jennifer’s journey has reached a critical and urgent turning point.

A Race Against Time

Recent CT scan results show that the cancer has suddenly progressed aggressively and has now metastasized to the surface of her intestines and liver. As a result, Jennifer now needs to pursue clinical trials as her next line of treatment.

These trials are being explored at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and other leading institutions. Time is of the essence. While these trials offer hope, they also bring significant financial strain, including costs for travel, lodging, medical coordination, uncovered treatments, and essential daily living expenses.

This is truly a race against time, and Jennifer cannot face it alone.

Who Jennifer is:  The Woman Behind the Fight

 Jennifer is more than her diagnosis. Since 2019 she has been a single mother of three who has built her life around loving, protecting, and providing for her three sons. She is a real estate agent who has worked tirelessly to help families find stability and a place to call home. She is also a giver — someone deeply rooted in her community, known for showing up for others, supporting multiple causes, and caring selflessly without ever expecting anything in return.

I have known Jennifer for over 17 years, and throughout those years, she has consistently been the person who steps up when others are in need. She leads with compassion, generosity, and quiet strength, always putting her community and the people she loves before herself.

Now, Jennifer is the one who needs support.

How You Can Help

Jennifer has partnered with Help Hope Live to fundraise to help cover medical expenses related to her cancer care, including clinical trial-related costs, integrative therapies, travel to major medical centers, and essential living expenses while undergoing treatment. The financial burden is overwhelming, especially since she is a single parent to her youngest son, and is unable to work consistently during aggressive care.

Her community has set an initial fundraising goal of $12,000 to help ease this burden over the next few months and allow Jennifer to focus on what matters most: fighting for her life and being there for her youngest son.
