Jim Stafford

Jim is a 56 year old man who has become very ill. After 6 years of battling non alcoholic liver disease Jim has become hospitalized, and now will need a liver transplant. Jim is a very caring man and needs our help. Jim has always helped others in their time of need, never looking for anything in return.

Jim grew up in Harriman where he graduated from Harriman High School. He then married and they had three children before moving to Raleigh, North Carolina. They had a fourth child and moved back to Tennessee. They divorced and he remarried. Jim has worked as a laborer most of his life. In 2009, he changed his life goals and went back to school. He attended Tennessee Technology Center of Harriman where he earned a degree as a machinist. After a year of working as a capstan he was diagnosed with non alcoholic liver cancer, forcing him to leave his job. He is looking forward to returning to his normal life and getting back to his hobby of american picking. Jim and his family are committed to seeing him through this transplant.

Getting a transplant is life-saving but comes with great costs.
