Jo-Anne Rosati

Dear Friends and Family,

My wife Jo-Anne was born and raised in South Philadelphia where we live today.

As some of you may know, a while ago Jo-Anne was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) and is now on oxygen twenty-four hours a day and travels to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) three times a week for treatments and therapy. She has been told that her only chance at a healthy life is to have a lung transplant.

Jo-Anne has raised five children and has nine grandchildren. She has a heart of gold and routinely places others and their needs ahead of her own. Jo-Anne is one of the most unselfish people I have ever met, even now in her biggest time of need Jo-Anne still thinks of others first.

Even with insurance, Jo-Anne will have many uninsured, transplant-related expenses such as: co-pays and deductibles, doctor visits and the costly immunosuppressant medications that she will need to take for the rest of her life.

Jo-Anne’s family and friends now have the task of raising the funds for these uninsured expenses.

To help offset her uninsured costs, a fundraising campaign in Jo-Anne’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive (formerly NTAF), a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for nearly 30 years. All contributions are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Mid-Atlantic Lung Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only.
