Save a Life and Say a Prayer!

John Bills was diagnosed with renal failure at birth. As a result, he lost functioning in both his kidneys. He received a living donor kidney transplant from his mother at age seven. This “gift of life” provided John with 35 amazing years of good health!

Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, and John is once again facing chronic kidney failure. Based on his critical situation, John now attends dialysis three times a week for survival. But there is hope as a second kidney transplant holds the promise of many more years of health and happiness for John! However, this is where your help is needed.

Transplantation is life-saving but financially draining. Even with health insurance, many medical costs, vital medications, and other transplant-related expenses are not covered. In facing this medical crisis, he barely gets by financially. In spite of his stress, he holds on to his faith and continues to take things one day at a time. Yet the reality is that John faces a tremendous challenge he cannot meet alone.

We are asking family and friends to join us in raising funds for the nonprofit, Help Hope Live, to help with the transplant-related medical expenses John will face. Donations to Help Hope Live can help ease the financial burden of a transplant and allow John to focus on a healthy recovery and a long life ahead with his loved ones.
