Family and friends of John Hope are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant. John has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses. Plus, we like the name!A little about John: John was diagnosed in 2012 with cardiomyopathy, and is currently in late stage heart failure and awaiting a heart transplant in an Indianapolis hospital.John is married to Maria, and is the father of one adult son (John W.), and three younger boys (Trenton, Grayson, and Dalton) still at home, and a stepson, Bryson. John loves his family, loves God, and loves golf ⛳️Do to his heart failure, John has gradually, then suddenly lost his stamina. He works to keep his spirits up, but it’s been a struggle as he simply cannot do the things he used to do, like carpentry, (and more golf!)John was forced into early retirement due to his heart failure. He hopes that a new heart will allow him to get back to his family and the things he loves to do, and perhaps return to work.The medical expenses associated with heart transplant are extremely high. After transplant, John will need immunosuppressive drugs for the rest of his life, which are very expensive, even with insurance.Please donate to Help Hope Live in John’s honor today, and ask your friends and family to give, too!
