John Johnston

John is waiting on a second chance at life at only 45 years young. Quite recently he found out that he has end-stage liver disease and is in dire need of a liver transplant.

John is a father to two teenage boys, a son, a brother, an uncle, and a friend to so many people. He is also a well-known member of the community as a visible employee at a local business.

While John has health insurance, the numerous costs associated with such a medical need as an organ transplant are quite burdensome. As such, he has partnered with the nonprofit Help Hope Live to help him offset some of the future costs. Some examples of such transplant-related expenses are the money needed for housing within one hour of the transplant center in Oklahoma City for up to three months post-transplant and the monthly prescriptions he must take for life so his body will not reject the new organ.

We are asking family, friends, and community members to help fundraise for Help Hope Live. Donations can help ease the financial burden of the transplant and give John the mental focus he needs to make a full recovery and live a long life.
