Dear Friends & Family,

I need your help! As many of you already know, for the past seven years, I have been battling end stage renal failure. After battling insulin dependent diabetes for 16 years I was then diagnosed with end stage renal failure and now need a kidney transplant.

I am a Christian and my faith is central to my life. I grew up in Southern California, worked at AT&T for 23 years, Verizon for 1 year and New Century Mortgage Company for 3 years. I love children and moved to Arizona to be closer to some of my grandchildren. Though I miss my other grandchildren in California, I’m looking forward to a future where I get to watch all of them grow up.

I have Medicare coverage which is a blessing, however this will not cover all the costs for the transplant. I was on the UCLA transplant list but was removed when my secondary insurance ran out. Thank God that by moving to Arizona I was entitled to be reinstated. A portion of the transplant surgery and the life-long medications that I will need to take are going to be very expensive, especially because I am unable to work due to my weakened condition.
