Joseph Woodberry

Joseph Woodberry, the husband of Cynthia V. Woodberry of Beitton’s Neck, South Carolina needs a kidney transplant. Joseph is requesting the help of family, friends, and the community to make it happen. Transplants are lifesaving but is very expensive.

Joseph was born in Brooklyn, New York, and moved to S.C. in 1979. He graduated from Britton’s Neck High School in 1983. Joseph joined the U.S. Airforce in 1983 and served until his honorable discharge in 1991. Joseph’s other employments were Manager of Advance Auto Parts; and salesman at National Hardware in Florence S.C. He is eagerly looking forward to joining the workforce in the future.

Joseph and Cynthia were married in 1985 and gave birth to two sons (Jywanza and Jakeem). They are the grandparents of three (Amayah, Javyn, and Jordan). Joseph and his family are committed to seeing his transplant through.

Transplants are lifesaving but very expensive. Even with insurance, Joseph is facing expenses for relocation to be near MUSC hospital after the transplant, medications, copays, lab fees
