Joshua Reed Needs Your Help

Joshua Reed is a 24 year old dedicated family man and friend to all. He is proud to be a hardworking entrepreneur, and has worked diligently at building his lawn care business over the last four years. Josh was left without health insurance when he took a leap of faith and decided to work his business full time. He never knew this decision would be so prevalent early on in his life.

On June 21, 2022, Josh and his family’s world was turned upside down in a catastrophic accident. He was working in a tree and fell from a ladder of at least 15 feet, resulting in a broken neck and a spinal cord injury. He lost movement in his legs and all function of his hands, categorizing him as a level C5 and C6 quadriplegic.

Josh has a two year old daughter and was expecting his first baby boy with his high school sweetheart, Audrey, within the coming weeks after the accident. Beforehand, Josh and Stella had a very close knit relationship, and having him missing was devastating to her day to day life. He ended up missing the birth of his son and multiple months of his family’s life due to being in the ICU for over a month and then rehabilitation for 3 months following that.

Josh, Audrey, and their whole family are navigating this still very new adjustment in their life and have yet to be able to reunite as a family in their split level home as it will require multiple modifications to be accessible for Josh.

When the accident happened our family’s world stopped, but life kept moving. Bills didn’t stop, which has made renovations almost impossible, prolonging Josh’s return home and making it even longer than expected. The biggest blessing we could receive right now would be able to make the modifications to our home so our life can return as it was. Meaning Josh is able to raise his children under one roof. We are so thankful for any amount of money given to help with home modifications and medical expenses.
