Josiah Castanon

My family and I are raising funds to purchase a handicap accessible van in order to transport our 11 yr old disabled son. Josiah was born with Hydrocephalus and Cerebral Palsy, he is G-tube fed, and unable to walk on his own or speak. We are currently transporting him in a 2006 Chevy passenger van with no lift or ramp. As Josiah gets older and gains more weight, it becomes more difficult to lift him into the van and then lift his wheel chair into the van.

United Access Mobility is helping us find and fit into an affordable used handicap van that will easily transport Josiah. These handicap vans are completely modified and are very expensive. Unfortunately, buying a modified handicap van has become a necessity, this will be a long term purchase that will greatly impact our family. We are asking for donations to help with the down payment.
