Kallin’s Story 🤍

Kallin is five years old and has already faced more than most ever should.

He was diagnosed with Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE) and cerebral palsy, and he is trach- and G-tube dependent. Despite everything, Kallin shows incredible strength, resilience, and perseverance every single day.

Kallin requires 24-hour skilled care in a specialized pediatric nursing facility. While his basic medical needs are met, many therapies that could significantly improve his quality of life are not covered by insurance.

Recently, Kallin’s mom, Aurora, attended the Team Luke Conference, where she learned about therapies that could open new doors for healing, comfort, and progress.

Today, Kallin is already receiving therapies that are making a real difference in his life.

Neuroacupuncture has helped improve his comfort, regulation, and responsiveness. A series of sessions costs approximately $1,400 and is not covered by insurance.

He is also receiving Feldenkrais therapy, which is helping teach his body and brain that movement is possible. This therapy supports awareness, development, and new movement patterns. It costs about $600 per month, with intensives ranging from $1,000–$1,600.

In addition, stem cell therapy at Total Wellness Center in Surprise, Arizona, offers a promising opportunity to support neurological healing and further progress. Each treatment costs approximately $8,500 and is not covered by insurance.

These therapies are not just hopeful—they are already making a meaningful difference. Continuing them is critical to maintaining and building on the progress Kallin has made.

Aurora is doing everything she can to make these opportunities possible for Kallin, but she cannot do it alone.
