Kay Henningson

Kay was diagnosed with kidney failure caused by Lupus in September of 2016.

She went on dialysis the first of January 2017. She has been approved for a kidney transplant. Kay’s daughter, Wendy, has agreed to donate a kidney for Kay. However, Wendy is not a match, so she will trade a kidney for a match when they can find one.

Kay has good insurance to cover most of the medical costs of the transplant, but she will have to spend several weeks in SLC and will need to cover travel and lodging expenses. There will also be some of the anti-rejection drugs that will not be covered by her insurance.

Family and friends of Kay Henningson are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
