Please Help MaryAnn and Kenneth!

In early March 2015, the Huie family was involved in a devastating car accident. With blessings from above and by the grace of God, the three Huie daughters walked away from the accident with barely a scratch. Their parents, MaryAnn and Kenneth weren’t as lucky.

Kenneth suffered a spinal cord injury, broken ribs and two deflated lungs. He spent more than two months in the ICU recuperating and is now facing life as a wheelchair bound paraplegic. The accident left MaryAnn a quadriplegic due to a broken C7 vertebra in her neck. She spent more than a month in the ICU and hospital before being transferred to a physical therapy facility. Both are now living in a nursing home.

Through the love and support of their family, friends and community, and their faith in God, the Huie family are making it through. MaryAnn and Kenneth have overcome many obstacles so far in the time since the accident, but they have many more ahead of them. While we can’t take away the pain and struggle of their physical challenges, we can help with their financial ones as they face mountains of recovery expenses.
