Ken Olson

Dear Friends, Family and Community,

My loving husband, Ken Olson, 54 years old, is ill with a chronic debilitating disease, Multiple Sclerosis (MS). After many years of struggling, Ken is in need of a stem cell transplant. We need your help to make it happen.

Ken loves his family dearly. He is the father of Tamara, Cameron, Kyle, Drew, Alex and Brent and a wonderful grandfather. Ken grew up in Bemidji, Minnesota. You may remember him as a scout leader and baseball coach in Cibolo or you may know him from classes at Texas Lutheran University. You may have worked with him at Toshiba or during his early career in Corpus Christi. Or, he may be helping you now at Olson Wealth Management which allows him to give back to the community and provide an invaluable service to people needing financial advice for retirement. Wherever you have met Ken, it is very likely that he has made a positive impact on your life.

Transplants may be lifesaving, but equally important for MS patients like Ken, it can be “quality of life” saving. The transplant will be done overseas in Moscow and is not covered by insurance; therefore, everything must be paid out of pocket. Our expenses will be over $60,000 for the procedure and our travel and relocation at the time of transplant. This puts our family up against a challenge we cannot meet alone and need your help.
