Kenneth Stodghill, Sr.

Kenneth (Kc) Stodghill, Sr. the husband of Dezelle Stodghill, is in need of a kidney transplant. Transplants are life saving but very expensive and Kenneth needs the help of his family, friends, and the community to make it happen.

Kenneth is a retired RTA driver who enjoys family and friends. Since his illness Kc’s been sidelined but wishes to return to the job he loves. Kenneth is now dependent on dialysis, which he undergoes three days a week. His only chance to return to good health and a normal life is a kidney transplant.

Kenneth’s brother, Yonsen, will be donating his kidney if a match. But, funding this life saving procedure is a monumental task, as there will be many medical expenses not covered by insurance: co-pays, travel expenses for the donor and recipient, and the expensive anti-rejection medications that Kenneth will have to take for the rest of his life. Expenses are adding up to more than the family can handle.
