KEN NEEDS YOUR HELP!

As some of you may already know Ken has been struggling with COPD for several years now. As his condition has progressively worsened he was referred to the Cleveland Clinic to be evaluated for a double lung transplant.

After 3 long years of traveling back and forth for the required testing he was recently denied the opportunity for this life saving surgery. His case was sent to several other transplant centers for consideration and we are happy to say that he was accepted by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

We’ve been back and forth to UPMC several times so far for the initial consultation and additional testing. He is very close to being listed – we hope and pray that will happen soon . All aspects of our lives have been impacted by, this including our finances. It is at this point in his journey that we made the difficult , yet necessary, decision to ask for help from our family, friends and neighbors. This will mean a lifetime of expensive medications but before we reach that point we will need to raise funds to help with the required relocation post surgery. Anything that you can do to help will be greatly
appreciated.
