Kevin Kopp

Family and friends of Kevin Kopp are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant. Kevin has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

A little bit about Kevin. Kevin is 50 years old living with kidney disease. Kevin has a strong family history of kidney disease. Kevin lives with his longtime partner Jackie and son Caleb. Kevin is scheduled to receive a kidney transplant on 10/3/25. Kevin is currently on dialysis 3 days a week.

Before Kevin started dialysis , he was a full time employee at the Erie County Courthouse. With his dialysis schedule he is currently unable to work.

You also may know Kevin as Captain Kevin. He is also a charter captain for Bushwacker Charters with his son Caleb on Lake Erie.

We are fundraising for Kevin to help cover the costs of medical expenses not covered by insurance. The estimated cost of out of pocket expenses is over $5000. This amount could change if Kevin experiences any setbacks.
