Kevin Mendell

Kevin was diagnosed with ALS in March 2023. ALS better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. ALS causes loss of muscle control and the disease gets worse over time. The exact cause of the disease is still unknown. Eventually, ALS affects control of the muscles needed to move, speak, eat, and breathe. There is no cure for the fatal disease.
