Family and friends of Kimberly Applequist are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.

Kimberly became a supporter of Help Hope Live for a very personal reason.

You see, while her own health difficulties began many years ago, she never seemed to let it get her down. Even through injuries and loss of capabilities which required her to shift jobs, she has kept a smile on her face and a ready laugh.

But now, after over a year of being unable to work, she is facing her biggest challenge yet – a liver transplant.

As you may be aware, this is a lengthy and costly surgery and a months-long recovery. Fortunately, she has very good insurance coverage, but not all expenses involved are covered by even the best insurance.

While she would prefer not to burden her friends and family with this challenge, the past several years have taken their toll and left her with no other option but to ask for help.
