Kristen Larochelle Rousseau

Kristen (Larochelle) Rousseau was born with the life threatening disease, Cystic Fibrosis. Over time, the lungs weaken from years of fighting infections, leaving patients with minimal lung capacity and transplant as the only option. In November 2018, Kristen received her double lung transplant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. She and her husband James spent 113 days in the hospital away from home. Kristen is now home living life to the fullest and it is all possible because one very selfless person decided to become an organ donor. Although the ‘hard part’ is over life will still consist of regular trips from ME to MA for follow up appointments. This campaign is to assist in relieving some of the financial burden associated as the out-pocket-expenses can add up quickly. Your contribution will go towards medical expenses not covered by insurance, temporary housing, meals and travel expenses for back and forth trips to Boston.
