LaRene Jensen

LaRene is in need of a Liver Transplant due to Liver Cancer.

She’s struggled with multiple health problems throughout her life, including spinal meningitis around age 5, which caused a very high fever where she had to be hospitalized for several days. In elementary school, they found she had double vision and she needed surgery. As a teenager and adult, she had endometriosis and struggled to have children. She was able to have one child and after several years of trying to have more children, the symptoms grew worse and she needed a hysterectomy.

Around the year 2000, LaRene and her family went snowmobiling for a work party. She was injured during the ride and broke vertebrae in her back and neck. It was during this time, she was found to have liver disease. A couple years later, she began having TIAs, mini strokes. Years later they found she had a hole between the septum of her heart that never closed when she was a baby. She has struggled with arthritis, migraines, and all the symptoms that come with Liver disease, and more. She lives in pain daily, yet strives to see the positive in life and serves others as she can. She has a great attitude.

LaRene is an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother of 4. She loves serving, learning, teaching, sewing, crocheting, being outdoors, and spending time with family. Her past work has been in accounting, cosmetology, teaching high functioning autistic college students, etc. She has a special love for autistic children and adults.

She’s looking forward to regaining her health and energy so she can spend more quality time with her family and friends, and be able to serve in the community again. We appreciate your love and support and will keep you updated.
