Larry had a heart transplant but he still Needs Your Help!

Dear Friends and Family,

We are writing you on behalf of Larry Delucchi who, besides being the best dad a daughter and two sons could ask for, is also a loving grandfather and a husband of 35 years. As many of you know, Larry battled heart disease for 22 years, however the last 11 years he suffered from congestive heart failure. Before becoming too sick to work, Larry was a diesel mechanic for 38 years, and now enjoys drawing, playing the guitar, and building miniature car models with his son Dustin. The past few years Larry’s health had significantly deteriorated to the point where he was placed on the heart transplant list to survive. Our prayers were answered and he had his heart transplant on July 6, 2014.

We need your help! Although Larry has health insurance, there are many uninsured expenses associated with transplantation, such as insurance co-pays, and costly post-transplant meds (to be taken for a lifetime).

Due to the astronomical expenses associated with heart transplantation, a fundraising campaign in Larry’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for 30 years.
