Almost 12 years ago, the day before I gave birth to my baby girl, I was diagnosed with CHF Congestive Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy. In the past 6 months or so my heart has been declining. My ejection fraction has now gone to 10%. So my only choice right now is to get the Lvad in order to help the heart out.

The surgery will happen in December. But I’m needing help with the after care that I have to do in Houston, because I want be able to go back home for at least 2 months. I will need help with housing and transportation to get back and forth to doctors and hospital.

My family and friends are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live in my honor, LaTeaeshia Gladney to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant.
