Laura Small

Laura is a forty-eight year old native of Waxahachie, Texas and the daughter of Danny and Elvira Moya. She graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1989. Laura has lived and worked in her hometown for the majority of her life. After struggling with health problems for a while, she is now in need of a kidney transplant.

Laura has always been a devoted mother and wife. She is a loving daughter, sister and woman of strong faith in God. Despite her health struggles, she has always put her faith in God and has allowed Him to lead the way. She has a love for children and has enjoyed working at school in Waxahachie for the past ten years. She is looking forward to feeling better and having improved health with this transplant. Laura is also hopeful that a potential living donor will be a match. We are all committed to seeing her through this transplant journey and would be grateful for your support.

A transplant is life-saving and also very expensive. Even with insurance there are many expenses that are not covered by insurance and must be paid out of pocket. Some of these are co-pays, deductibles, lab fees, living donor expenses and Laura will be on a life-time of anti-reject medications. This puts Laura and her family up against a challenge they cannot meet alone and need your help.
