Meet Liam.

He was born with a rare genetic mutation called KCNQ2 Encephalopathy:

He can’t walk. But he can laugh.

He can’t feed himself. But he can signal when he’s hungry.

He can’t talk. But he can smile and hold eye contact.

Play any song, even one he’s never heard before, and he can immediately rock his head to the tempo perfectly!

Liam is a big 13 year old boy now (just look at his mustache!) so he needs a wheelchair accessible van for transport.

A wheelchair van can be anywhere between $50,000 to $85,000 and Medicaid doesn’t cover the cost.

How will a van change Liam’s life?

– More frequent specialist visits to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
– Ability to visit cousins, aunts and uncles, and other family members
– Trips to the zoo and aquarium and museums
– Safer more comfortable commute to school
– He’ll be able to accompany the family to the grocery store, mall,
parks, restaurants, friends homes.
– Liam will make errands fun again!
