Lily Arkens

Hello, my name is Tyler Arkens, father of Lily Arkens. We began raising funds with Help Hope Live to support my wife’s double lung transplant which took place on December 25, 2015. After battling Cystic Fibrosis for over 30 years, she was given a second chance at life through the gift of organ donation. The funds that we received to support her during her medical journey were unbelievable. Help Hope Live’s generous support was able to help us up until her passing in April of 2019.

One of Lauren’s greatest achievements in life, was having our daughter Lily. In 2007, Lily was born with a heart defect and was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Her medical needs, along with Lauren’s, have been a huge financial burden, and have made us realize the importance of living within our means. Lauren’s greatest wish was for Lily to not have the same stress in her life associated with expensive life saving medical procedures. It was her wish to have the remainder of her available funds raised through Help Hope Live to go to Lily, to now assist her.

Family and friends of Lily Arkens are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.

Lily has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors.
