Linda Edwards

Linda (Lynn) Edwards is a 60-year-old woman who is very ill. After years of struggling with cirrhosis of the liver a liver transplant is her only hope for survival. She has always believed in forgiveness and helping people in need. She needs your help. The cost of a transplant can be overwhelming.

Lynn grew up in La Marque and married her soul mate, Charlie. They just celebrated 40 years on Valentine’s Day. They just had their 4th grandchild born and are looking forward to see her grow up. Our family is committed to seeing Lynn through this transplant.

Transplants are life saving but financially draining. Even with insurance, she is facing very high expenses including relocation for several months to be closer to St. Luke’s Hospital, post-transplant medications over $1,200 a month, co-pays, lab fees and more.

To help with the financial burden of Lynn’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in her honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the South-Central Liver Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only.
