What if you were living on borrowed time?

Linda J. White is awaiting a new lease on life. On November 10, 2016, she received life – changing news; her kidney levels were far too low. By July 2017, doctors said a kidney transplant is critical to her survival. She has been on the transplant list since then.

During this difficult time, Linda is grateful for the love and support of her family, which includes two daughters, two sons and eight grandchildren. While she isn’t working right now, she enjoys sitting outside and playing cards with her family and friends. Linda also enjoys attending church with her family. After her transplant, she looks forward to spending more time with loved ones and enjoying the rest of her life. But right now, she needs your help.

Unfortunately, Linda’s hope for a new life comes at a very high price.

The average kidney transplant costs more than $335,000. And that’s only the beginning. Even with insurance, which will cover a portion of the transplant costs, Linda still faces significant expenses related to the surgery. For the rest of her life, she will need follow up care and anti – rejection medications. Post – transplant medications are very expensive, and they’re as critical to her survival as the transplant itself.

After she receives her transplant, Linda will have to stay near the transplant center during the recovery process, incurring substantial expenses for travel, food and lodging.

This plight is solicited to relieve the growing burden of expenses for Linda. Any gift that you may give will be used to provide Linda with the financial support she desperately needs.

We, the family and friends of Linda White are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live (in Linda’s honor) to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
