Our mother Lisa desperately needs your help.

Lisa’s long battle with liver disease has come to a critical point. Our mother (and the grandmother of four sweet grandchildren) is now in liver failure and needs a transplant to survive.

We’re asking family and friends to join us in fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to help with critical expenses Lisa will face immediately after surgery, including the cost of lodging near the transplant center where she is required to stay for a minimum of 30 days following her discharge.

Lisa has always lived a positive and productive life despite her chronic health condition. She has never let health challenges get in the way of being an incredible mother and grandmother. Lisa’s positive attitude and lifestyle helped her avoid the inevitable for a long time, but now her liver is hardly functioning, and she needs our help. While Lisa has health insurance, many transplant expenses are surprisingly not covered, such as the monthly anti-rejection medications she needs to take for the life of her new liver.
Lisa has been told to anticipate upwards of $5,000 per month just for medications alone. Donations to Help Hope Live can help ease the financial burden of a transplant and allow Lisa to focus on a healthy recovery and a long life ahead with her family.

Our family and friends are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live in honor of Lisa Bloom to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
