Meet Esther,

Esther is a 46 year old mother of 4 me being one of them, and grandma of 5.

Late 2018, Esther was diagnosed with kidney disease, and her kidneys were at 18%. She avoided dialysis up until the end of 2020, and has been on the transplant list since June of 2021.

In these years of knowing this information Esther has tried to not let this put her down, and kept a positive mind about it. One of the reasons she has been so strong is because she has two little girls who are still fully dependent of her because she is a single mother. She has been their sole provider, even while her kidneys are barely functioning.

It took so long to get Esther on the transplant list due to her being a single mom and self employed, considering there were more qualifications to meet. Now that she is on the list we are asking for donations to help with medical and after care costs.

Family and friends of Maria Guerra are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
