As some of you know, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease about 5 years ago. I’m in need of a Kidney Transplant.

Hi family and friends!

I’m asking you all to join me in fundraising for the nonprofit organization Help Hope Live to help with critical expenses immediately following my transplant surgery including cost of travel to and from the Transplant Center which could be 2-4 days per week also the cost of medications which I will have to take for the rest of my life to maintain my new kidney. Also medical bills such as hospital bills, doctors bills and home health care.

For most of my life I’d practice healthy eating habits, exercised and kept a positive attitude and led a productive life. And I’ve had other health challenges but this one ( Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) was a shocker! Especially after being made aware that it was due to the negligence of physicians I’d trusted with my care. I was devastated and so very angry to say the least. I was in disbelief! I went through a long period of depression, anxiety and despair but even with all of this going on I had to get into action.
I now have an amazing team of doctors that are totally committed to my well being and I am so very grateful for each of them.

Some of my days are very challenging sometimes one day at a time and sometimes one hour at a time but for each moment that I’m given I say “ thank you “!
