Family and friends of Mario Cappabianca are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant. Mario has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

Hi, My name is Mario,

For the last few years I’ve been dealing with a medical condition. I have End Stage Kidney Failure. I have been on dialysis for three years now. I have been through many operations in that time, related to kidney failure, and also for other medical issues.

I have learned that it changes your life and that I need to adapt and hit it head on. Comply with what all of the doctors ask me to do and take the help from family and friends when needed. The reality of it is that working a consistant job has become impossible right now and I need to rely on the help of others. To harness the strength to carry on each day and to not be down or depressed over something I can’t control. And without the unconditional love and support of my better half, Heather, I would not be here to write this. She is my rock.
