Marquis Thomas

Family and friends of Marquis Thomas are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.

Marquis has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Marquis has been in the hospital since Friday, May 19th, and was recently transferred to another hospital with liver specialists that could help her further. She was diagnosed with Acute Liver Failure, which came out of nowhere and impacted our family greatly. Liver Failure is extremely sudden and because of the severity, things are happening quickly.

Marquis had a successful transplant on Friday, June 2nd, and has been recovering well and making great progress.
