Marsha Steinhouse

After a routine employee check-up, Marsha was found to have contracted Hepatitis C. Her particular genotype of Hepatitis C statistically does not respond to medications. She has been told her only hope is a liver transplant. She has been attending pre-transplant counseling and medical exams at Lifelink in Tampa and seems to be getting closer to becoming a transplant candidate.

Although Marsha has medical insurance, funding a transplant surgery is a monumental task—there are so many uninsured expenses. In order to meet these expenses, a fundraising campaign in Marsha’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive , a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for over 30 years. All donations are tax deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Southeast Liver Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only.
