Michael Bavaro

Michael Bavaro is a young man with a bright future ahead of him. An unfortunate accident occurred in March, 2020. He suffered a catastrophic C4-C6 spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed from the chest down. He is completely dependent on others for his daily activities.

Michael is a fighter and determined to regain his independence and live his life to the fullest. To help him achieve this goal, a fundraiser for Help Hope Live in his honor was organized to raise funds for a new iBot wheelchair. The iBot wheelchair uses advanced technology that has the ability to climb stairs, elevate the user to eye level, and navigate through rough terrain (check out the ibot video attached). This will be life changing and greatly enhance Michael’s mobility and provide him with more independence in his day to day life. The iBot wheelchair costs approximately $35,000, and this fundraiser aims to raise enough funds to purchase one for Michael.

Our “Help Hope Live” fundraiser is a testament to the power of community and the human spirit. It is an opportunity for people to come together and make a difference in Michael’s life and help him regain his independence.
