As many of you know I have end stage liver disease.

The doctors at the Cleveland Cinic explained to me that I am in need of a Liver transplant. Most people think that a transplant can only be done if the donor has passed away. The Cleveland Cinic is one the very few transplant centers that performs Live Liver transplants.

In my case, the donor would need to be 18-60 yrs old with a blood type of B or O.

I have been placed on medical disability and neither myself or my wife can work due to Medicaid.
This fundraiser is to: 1. Raise the awareness of the living donor program. 2. Any money raised will go towards non-covered expenses. When I have the transplant me wife will need to stay at a hotel in the Cleveland Cinic property. She will need to be there 7-10 days. There is also the cost of gas for the hour long trip from Vermilion to Cleveland. And when I go home I will need to be at the Clinic two to three days a week.
