Michael Paul Haney, Husband(44yrs), Father, and Grandfather, needs your help.

In 2014 Michael was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). This irreversible deadly lung disease has reached a critical stage and a double lung transplant is Mikes only chance for survival.

Mike has lived an exemplary life in his community. Some of his most memorable moments, he volunteered as a little league baseball coach for over a decade. He is a member of the St. Joseph’s Church and former participant in the St.Joseph’s Men’s Club and supporter of the Jacksonville Jaguars football franchise as a season ticket holder and ticket sales promoter. Mike was awarded the Small Business Leader of the Year representing the Mandarin Chamber of Commerce in 2010.

Mike’s current Medicare health insurance covers most of the transplant surgery, however much of the expenses after surgery is not. The additional cost of expenses he will incur after surgery will not be covered by insurance. The cost of his anti-rejection medication is just one of the expenses that he will incur.
