Michael Morales

Dear Friends and Family, As many of you know, Michael needs a heart transplant. Without it, his life is in immediate jeopardy. This goal is essential to giving Michael a fighting chance at recovery and a future with his loved ones. In light of this, his wife Michelle made the difficult decision to step away from her teaching position of seven years to be by his side, both at the hospital and at home, as he recovers from LVAD open heart surgery. Michael now requires full-time care, physical therapy, medications, medical procedures, equipment and supplies. Your generous donations will help him return to spending precious time with Michelle, their daughters, grandchildren, and their puppy. The costs are substantial—$150,000 out-of-pocket is needed for medications, medical procedures, physical therapy, full-time caregivers, medical supplies, a generator for his LVAD, service dog training, utilities, and household expenses.
