Most of you probably know my story, but some may not. So I’ll give a bit of history. For the past two years I have been on the kidney transplant list.
This is because I was born with Polycystic Kidney Disease. Many in my family have this disease, including my mother. A little over ten years ago, I went into kidney failure. My wonderful sister stepped in and graciously gave one of hers and everything worked great for almost eight years.
During this time, God gave me my amazing and beautiful wife Jennifer. We dated, got engaged, and were married right in the middle of COVID. While still in the honeymoon phase and beginning to try for a family, my health began to deteriorate. In March of 2022, I was officially in kidney failure and put on the transplant list. Later that year, I began dialysis. Since then we have had several major medical hurdles to overcome. Our “normal” lives are gone, but by the grace of God we have carried on.
After nearly two years of dialysis and countless medical issues, we are weary, worn down, and ready for a new chapter to begin. After lots of prayer and encouragement from our family and friends, I tell you all of this to ask, would you consider helping us with a donation?
